The city of Kyoto in Japan is known for its beautiful temples, gardens, and traditional tea ceremonies. It was the capital of Japan for more than a thousand years before the capital moved to Tokyo in 1868. Kyoto is also famous for its historical districts, where you can find wooden houses, narrow streets, and the iconic geisha culture. Every year, millions of tourists visit Kyoto to experience its rich cultural heritage and the stunning cherry blossom season in spring.

The chart below shows the percentage of people who traveled by different modes of transportation in a city from 2010 to 2020. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

  • Task 2 (250 words minimum):

    Some people believe that children should be taught at home rather than in traditional schools. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? Provide reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
